About Surrender Sound
I’m Jeff, the owner of Surrender Sound. With a background in engineering and a lifelong passion for music and audio, I help churches and businesses achieve excellence in sound, video, and live streaming. My mission is to equip churches to fulfill the Great Commission and empower businesses to create meaningful connections through high-quality audio and video.
A Lifelong Passion for Audio & Technology
From an early age, I was captivated by sound. I still remember the excitement of recording onto a cassette tape with the boombox my parents gave me for Christmas. In high school, I became a percussionist in the school band and played drums at church and with local bands.
While studying at Kettering University, I combined my love for music and technology—diving into computer-based music production and DJing in Detroit’s electronic music scene. After graduating, I worked as an automotive engineer while continuing to explore audio production and releasing my own music.
A Calling to Serve the Church
During the COVID pandemic, I felt a clear calling to use my expertise to serve the Church. While volunteering at my local church, I saw the growing need for better audio and live streaming solutions. That realization led me to shift my focus toward helping churches and organizations present their message with clarity and excellence.
