3:33

I saw 3:33 pm on the clock while driving home yesterday. A heavy rainstorm with dark clouds was taking place. It had been some time since I had seen that sequence of numbers, and I knew the Lord was speaking to me.

This morning, as I was reading about what the number 333 means, I came across Ezekiel 33:33 and remembered how I had heard it spoken the day before. This was not a coincidence.

Ezekiel chapter 33 emphasizes the importance of the prophet’s role as a watchman and the responsibility of individuals to heed God’s warnings, turn from their wicked ways, and receive His forgiveness to live. It is God's declaration that a day of reckoning will come to all those who pretend to love the Lord but deny Him in their hearts and in their works. I’ve included a couple of verses before it to provide context.

““But as for you, son of man, your people who talk about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses say one to another, every one to his brother, ‘Come now and hear what the message is that comes from the Lord.’ They come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not practice them; for with their mouth they express loving devotion, but their heart goes after their (unlawful) gain. Behold, you are to them like a love song by one who has a pleasant voice and plays well on a stringed instrument [merely to entertain them]; for they hear your words but do not practice them. So when it comes to pass—as it most certainly will—then they will know [without any doubt] that a prophet has been among them.””

In addition to this, Exodus 33:3 stood out to me. This is the first time God commands the Israelites to begin their journey to their inheritance.

“Go up to a land [of abundance] flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, because you are a stiff-necked (stubborn, rebellious) people, and I might destroy you on the way.””

Moses pleaded with God to come with them. God ultimately reassured Moses that His presence would go with him and the people, promising to give them rest.

Is God telling us that we are beginning our entrance into the promised land?

Are we being delivered from slavery?

Are we coming out of Egypt and the world systems?

Are we exiting the Babylonian systems?

Are we entering the land where God provides for us instead of us toiling day to day?

Are we entering a place of rest?

Will there be judgment and consequences for those who don’t listen to the word of God and the prophecies that have been given?

Will the words be confirmed in this new season?

I believe that is the case.
